A six-month validity term is granted to the work visa usually. It is a National Visa and not valid across Europe, hence read the immigration laws carefully.
The maximum number of days you can stay in the Schengen area on a work visa is 90 days within every 180-day period. This 90/180 day rule applies to all 27 countries in the Schengen area, and the 180-day period is continuous. The precise length of validity of your visa is indicated on the visa sticker under the heading “Duration of visit”. With a single-entry visa you can enter the Schengen area only once.

  • Fill out the application form: You can download the application form for free from the Schengen Visa website.
  • Gather required documents: You’ll need to provide the following documents.

  • Pay the visa fee: Submit the application fee as per the current rates
  • Wait for processing: Track the status of your application until a decision is made.
  • Collect your passport: Once your application is approved, you can collect your passport.
